History of the Outreach

Pastor Keat proclaiming the good news.
Pastor Keat proclaiming the good news.

In 1994 Keat, Sally and their two sons Kevin and Mark (now teenagers) moved back to Cambodia to begin this ministry. After working in the country and assessing the situation for two years Keat and Sally purchased a half-acre of land as the site for the church and their home. By September 1996, using their own assets, they funded and

built the church, and a two-story house on the property. The family quarters are upstairs and the downstairs four bedrooms and kitchen are quarters for visitors and missionaries. The complex has been used to assist other Christian churches in the area.

Keat & Sally continue to train full-time staff to evangelize and disciple new believers. The church has now grown to 70 members. This church community is active in evangelism, discipleship and neighborhood cell groups, etc. In order to fulfill The Great Commission. Regular worship service is at 7:30 am each Sunday.

Organization Principles
The Cambodian Mission Outreach is a US non-profit, 501 C-3 Corporation, which was established in 1995 to equip and enable Cambodian nationals to reach other nationals. This corporation is organized exclusively for charitable purposes.

  • Keat and Sally Kove fund all CMO facility overhead expense at this time.
  • Keat and Sally  and all Christian workers in the US are 100% unpaid volunteers. All Christian volunteers who travel to Cambodia will fund their own travel expenses and overhead. Housing and food will be supplied at a reasonable cost at the CMO guesthouse.
