Christians in Cambodia are fighting with human trafficking
The organization World Hope International (WHI) representative Wiebe Christine tells us that they help to fight human trafficking in Cambodia.
The organization built the center near the city of Phnom Penh, which provides assistance to more than one hundred girls aged 10 to 16 years, who managed to escape from sexual slavery.
“We give them medical care, mental rehabilitation and asylum. We collaborate with other organizations that also provide assistance to these people. Thus, we can rely on each other. ” This cooperation is organized in order to return the affected girls hope. Partners WHI are organizations such as Catholic Relief Services, World Vision-Cambodia, International Justice Mission and Hagar. Through such cooperation, for the senior girls there training. Wiebe said that they share with the girls who come into their center, the good news of Christ’s love: “We are with Biblical teaching and preaching the Gospel, which can bring healing.”
